چکیده
The research aims to evaluate the efficiency of some consolidation materials for tracing paper; hydroxypropyl cellulose (Klucel-E), zinc oxide nanoparticles and nanocellulose. consolidated were used independently, as hybrid mixtures improve their properties. prepared nanomaterials examined with an Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), consolidate paper samples after artificial aging evaluated. Evaluation methods included investigation surface morphology by Scanning Electron (SEM), measurement mechanical properties (tensile strength elongation), detection chemical changes treated before thermal ageing at 80°C 65% relative humidity Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis. Based on results examinations, mixture consisting hydroxylpropyl nanocellulose proved be successful; giving best when this was applied samples. This distinguished its ability spread easily inside paper, greater binding, without forming a film causing stiffness or opacity paper. Therefore, archaeological map Egyptian Geographical Society dating back (1807 AD).
